Renting

We work closely with Landlords whom we believe hold the same views as we do concerning the standard of service and presentation a Tenant should expect of their home.

The rental market, by its very nature, is fast moving in any economic climate.  If you find a property you would like to view, please contact us as soon as possible on 01933 663311 in order to clarify any specific conditions of Tenancy that may relate to that property and initiate the process. If you would like us to keep a record of your requirements, please fill in the Registration Form via the link. Use the Property Search facility to see the range of properties we have on offer.
  • Finding a property & your application

Once you have seen a property which meets your criteria, we strongly advise you to contact us in order to ascertain if the property is still available and if there are any Landlord criteria you may need to be aware of.

All our viewings are accompanied by a member of the team. All we ask is that you are flexible with your arrangements as we are now working within the COVID-19 guidelines and will need to ensure that we can accommodate all parties’ safety needs and ensure you get to have a thorough look at the property you’ve booked to see. Please see the separate COVID-19 section at the top of this page.

In order to begin proceedings to secure a Tenancy, we will need to agree terms with the Landlord, such as a start date, length of initial agreement etc. Once this is finalised you will need to furnish us with your ID, a holding deposit (equivalent of one week’s rent) and complete an initial application form so that we can reserve the property, we can then begin the referencing process. Once satisfactory references are received back by us, and agreed with the Landlord, we can agree begin to finalise the move in details.

  • Tenancy Agreements & moving in

Prior to or on the start date of the Tenancy we will need you to have signed your Tenancy Agreement and we will need to have received, as cleared funds, the rental and deposit sum as agreed. You will be given your Tenancy Agreement and the Inventory, along with your keys on your move in day. We will talk through every document with you and are always on hand with any queries you may have throughout the process. It is important that all parties fully understand the nature of any agreement; so if in doubt, please ask.

  • After moving in

We will tell you whether the property is managed by us or the Landlord. If managed by us, our Property Management department will already be aware of you moving into your new home. If you experience any problems from this point onwards, you can contact them on 01933 663311, option 3. There is also an out of hours emergency line.
